This award is to recognize front line staff working in Sterile Processing. You must be a Sterile Processing Technicians/Aides to apply.

A current member of the C.S.A.O.
Must attend C.S.A.O. Conference
Must be nominated by Manager, Supervisor or Peer (with Manager's approval)
Has demonstrated excellence through involvement with one or more of the following: Education and training in Sterile Processing, a special project resulting in improvement to job process or design, teaching/motivating or mentoring others, development and/or implementation of an innovative idea, promotion of quality improvement.

The Getinge Canada Isobel Campbell Award is the most prestigious honour bestowed by the Central Service Association of Ontario. It is given to the person who is judged to have made a significant contribution to the Central Service Profession.

A present member of the C.S.A.O.

Showed leadership in chapter development and activities through personal involvement over a period of years.

Helped substantially to advance the education of the C.S.A.O.

Advanced the prestige or interest of C.S.A.O.

Attends the C.S.A.O. Conference.

The recipient must be a graduate of the C.S.A.O. Techniques Classroom Course held between June 1st to May 30 of the preceding months before the conference.

The recipient must have received 90% on the C.S.A.O. Techniques written exam.

The recipient must be a current member of the C.S.A.O. and be employed in a C. S. D./S. P. D. setting.

The recipient's eligibility for the award is contingent upon registration for the C.S.A.O. annual seminar.

Should the recipient be unable to attend the seminar, the award will pass to another participant who meets the criteria. No exceptions are to be made.

Acceptance and registration for the seminar must be received by the C.S.A.O. executive within one month of notification of the award by the V. P. of Education.

The C.S.A.O. V. P. of Education will bring forth only those names that have 90% and are current C.S.A.O. members at the June executive meeting. Three names will be drawn & will be contacted in order drawn by the V. P. of Education. The first person that accepts to attend the conference nullifies any further names. The V. P. of Education will book the recipient's room at the hotel for Monday night charged to the Master and send them a registration form to return within the month to the V. P. Education. If this does not occur then the person will be contacted & the next person contacted.

A plaque and a cheque for $1000.00 will be presented to the successful recipient at the annual seminar awards banquet in September.
