Lorna Coutoulas President
Is currently a Coordinator/Educator at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Sterile Processing Department. She was previously a supervisor at 3 Major downtown hospitals having started her career in England 25 years ago.
She is the President of the Central Service Association of Ontario (CSAO) and has been an active member of the (CSAO) for 14 years, holding various positions on the executive. She has been teaching/coordinating the Central Service Techniques course for 10 years.
Lorna sits on the Canadian Standards Association, Sterilization Technical Committee and other working groups that benefit the world of Reprocessing Medical Devices.
She has assisted in editing the workbook for the Central Service Techniques Course over the past few years. Lorna has spoken at the annual Central Service conference on two occasions and is an avid promoter for the provincial association and an active promoter of continuous staff education. Lorna has provided opportunity for the association to grow across the province and believes that Central Processing is an important role in the healthcare field.
She is also currently teaching the Sterile Supply Processing Course at Centennial College.
