Michael Lacatus President Currently, Michael Lacatus is the SPD Manager at Mount Sinai Hospital. Prior to joining the Mount Sinai group, on November 2005, he was, for almost five years, the CPD Manager at St. Michael’s Hospital. Michael’s association with the reprocessing of medical devices goes even further; back in 1996 he joined the CPD group at the Toronto Western hospital and a year later moved to the Toronto General Hospital where he managed the CPD group for the following years. Michael held various positions in the CSAO either at the chapter or provincial level. He was the ETA chapter president and together with all the members attempted to energize the local activities. Michael is a member of the CCHSA/CSA Advisory Committee and was actively involved in the drafting of necessary documentation for the accreditation program for all reprocessing health care facilities. |
